Wornall/Majors Wish List

The Wornall/Majors House Museum relies on community support to help us maintain these amazing Kansas City landmarks. We have periodic projects and opportunities that are perfect for community groups, Scout projects, volunteer organizations, companies, or individuals. If you are able to help us with one of the projects or items on our “wish list,” please call 816-444-1858 or email the volunteer coordinator at administrator@wornallmajors.org.

Projects

  • General beautification of the Majors Grounds (planting of perennials, small flowering trees, etc.)
  • Wash and/or repair costumes
  • Sort/organize field trip and camp supplies

In-Kind Donations

We are always in need of in-kind donations to help us support our programs and events, particularly for our youth programs. Here are some of our current needs:

  • Scrap fabric
  • Corn husks
  • Old candles or candle wax
  • Construction paper
  • Period costumes (c. 1850s-1870s)
  • High-quality folding chairs (need 150 matching)
