2023 Year End Campaign

Wornall/Majors House Museums touches the lives of approximately 10,000 individuals per year, including 900 school-aged children, providing interesting and relevant historic programming that encourages life-long learning. From Preschool Story Time to author-led adult book clubs, we have something for everyone.

We ensure that income status is never a barrier to entry – 70% of our educational programs are completely free and we offer no-questions-asked discounts and complimentary tickets for schools and families who want to attend but are unable to do so for financial reasons.

But we need your support to make it happen. Due to rising utilities and material costs, our overall expenses and maintenance of our two historic structures are rising. Your donation matters! As philanthropist Mary Lasker said, “Money is frozen energy.” That energy propels us forward as we strive to be on the leading edge of house museums in the United States.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 by the end of the year – will you make it happen by making a donation or bidding in our silent auction?
