Whiskey Pioneers

Join us for a celebration of whiskey with one of the local distilleries pioneering the spirit movement in Kansas City. Start your evening with a signature cocktail crafted by mixologists from the U.S. Bartenders’ Guild – Kansas City, and enjoy a tasting menu created to complement the libations.

We will then be joined by Dr. Matthew Osborn, assistant professor of history at UMKC, who will discuss whiskey and its history and use on the frontier and during the Civil War.

Following his remarks, join Dark Horse Distillery for a guided whiskey tasting.

$50 per person, all-inclusive.
Registration closed.
