You’ve never participated in trivia quite like this! You may already know that “Ring Around the Rosie” is allegedly about the plague. But did you know that many Victorian-era nursery rhymes have dark backstories or are far more gruesome and horrifying than their cheery rhymes might imply?
Nursery Rhymes After Dark is an interactive social event where we will explore the disturbing origins of nursery rhymes and explore some lesser-known dark and violent rhymes. First, enjoy a social hour and fun carnival-like activities, followed by a trivia-style quiz designed to test your knowledge of obscure and horrifying nursery rhymes. Top scorers will win fun prizes from local businesses.
