Join us as we tour 6 of Kansas City’s premier gardens & help bring history to life!

The Wornall/Majors Garden Tour is the premier garden tour in Kansas City. The tour draws hundreds of garden and history-lovers out to support the Museums by touring some of the finest gardens Kansas City has to offer. Proceeds from the tour support two of Kansas City’s most significant antebellum landmarks, the John Wornall House (1858) and the Alexander Majors House (1856).

Event Details

Tickets are $30 per person the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased day-of at any of the six participating gardens (see below for addresses). Please note that payment must be made with cash or check, with the exception of the Wornall House, which can take credit card payments. Online ticket sales are now CLOSED.













The Gardens

Explore the intersection of art, history, and gardening in our six fascinating and different gardens across Kansas City. Addresses and a map for the gardens will be provided upon purchase of your ticket.

The Wornall Herb Garden (Brookside) showcases a wide variety of historic and unique herbs and is nestled behind the John Wornall House Museum. The garden is tended to by a a group of dedicated garden volunteers.

Location: 6115 Wornall Road

The Brookside garden of Judy & David Aull is filled with charm and history, and contains many surprising touches, from an 18th century fountain to an antique well.

Location: 1025 W 53rd Terrace


The Tom Corbin Sculpture Garden, located behind Corbin’s Rosedale, KS studio, is as meticulously sculpted as Corbin’s statues that also grace the garden. Corbin will also open his studio to Garden Tour visitors.

Location: 1166 Southwest Blvd.


The Crestwood garden of Christopher Filley and Rich Hoffman is filled with eclectic items that showcase their eye for antiques. Their garden showcases artwork that perfectly harmonizes with the cozy space.

Location: 5433 Cherry St.


The Crestwood garden of George Terbovich features a terrace for entertaining and a crafted pond in a tranquil space framed in shades of green.

The grounds of the Oak Street Mansion, an art hotel in the historic Southmoreland district, are well manicured and verdant. Stroll through this peaceful oasis and enjoy the beautiful art in the garden.
