Friday & Saturday, December 6-7
6:00-7:30 PM (Tours leave every 15 minutes)
Alexander Majors House Museum
8201 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64114
Join us at the Alexander Majors House for a frontier Christmas celebration sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Explore how the holidays were celebrated for settlers on the Missouri-Kansas border through festive music, treats, presentations, and performances. The museum will also be decorated in rustic finery – true to the hand-crafted and homey touches families would use in the nineteenth century.
Tours are guided through the house, leaving every 15 minutes from 6:00-7:30 PM. Tours last approximately one hour. Crafts for adults and children will also be available in the Alexander Majors Barn – consider arriving 30 minutes before your tour or staying after to make a simple take-home item while enjoying hot cider.
$15/general admission, $10 members (members use code WMHMMember at checkout or call 816-444-1858.)
